The Cadillac DTS and its 12V battery

The saloons (ATS, later CTS, CT4, CT5, CT6) carry it in the boot, and XT5 and XT6 typically have it under the cargo floor, so jump starts on those cars use the posts under the bonnet. Boot batteries have a vent tube that must be reconnected. Cadillac does not usually need dealer coding, but the battery sensor has to be refitted properly and some settings may need a relearn.
