What to know

The Foton Gratour im6 and its 12V battery

Later Foton Gratour im6 model years may have start-stop or a battery sensor that controls charging. Where they do, the replacement has to be the same type (EFB or AGM) and may need registering to the car.

Petrol models use maintenance-free flooded batteries, moving to EFB or AGM where start-stop is fitted. Hybrid and electric variants have a small 12V auxiliary battery.

Under the bonnet on petrol models. Because fitment varies by year and trim, a photo of the battery label is the reliable way to match it.

How it works

From your location pin to a car that starts

Four steps, and you know what is happening at each one. Nothing is fitted until the battery has been tested.

1
Share where the car is
Send a location pin with the road name, direction of travel and the nearest exit or landmark. In a basement, add the level and bay.
2
Confirm the car details
Make, model and year, plus a photo of the battery label if you can. That is how the right battery gets loaded.
3
Get an arrival estimate
We check access and technician availability, then tell you when to expect us before anyone sets off.
4
Test, then jump or replace
The technician tests the battery, explains the reading and carries out a jump start or a replacement. The car is started before he leaves.
