The Nissan Liberty and its 12V battery
On older Nissan Liberty model years the fault is sometimes a corroded terminal, a tired earth strap or a weak alternator, not the battery itself, which is why the charging system is tested before we recommend a replacement.

Under the bonnet, usually on the left or right front corner with a top bracket. No registration is needed on most models. After reconnecting, some cars need the power window auto function reset and the idle may hunt briefly until the engine computer relearns. The negative terminal sensor must be refitted carefully, not levered off.
